ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Amy, an illustrator and designer based in Scotland, creating colourful mixed-media work inspired by people, places and the natural world.
Colour and texture are my favourite languages, and I love combining traditional, analogue techniques with contemporary illustration and design to create work that's layered, tactile and full of personality. You'll find everything from detailed illustrative pieces to more abstract, graphic explorations.
Alongside my creative practice, I'm a qualified TQFE lecturer and regularly teach illustration and creative workshops in community settings and at events. Sharing creativity with others is just as important to me as making my own work and a lot of my practice is centred around experimentation, curiosity and creative play.
I work from my costal home studio, located between the sea and an indoor jungle of houseplants, usually with my orange cat nearby. When I'm not creating, you'll probably find me meandering along the beach hunting for sea glass and collecting beach pottery or tending to my ever-growing plant collection.
